My Main Man

Robert has been in my life for over three years. I don't know what I would do without him. We just made the big move from Chicago back to my home town of Kansas City, Missouri. He has been a trooper and I look forward to many more moves with him in the future.

The picture above is when he was a brand new little kitten. Too cute not to share.

My Favorite Room in the House

The Kitchen is where I would spend all of my time, if possible.

When I was a nanny, I would have spent all day in the kitchen cooking (and even cleaning!) if I could, especially on a cold winter day. Those winter days are far, far away, but I can dream about these kitchens until then.

Can you smell the chocolate chip cookies cooking in the oven?

Girl Crush

I have many girl crushes, for lots of different reasons. Sometimes it's their style other times their ambition. But most often it's their houses.

First of all, how insane does she look on the August 2010 cover of Vogue?

Then, as if we weren't in awe already, she cooks in that kitchen (at her loft in Tribecca).

And of course she has the Hamptons house to really put me over the edge.

I'm dying to know what the outside of the house looks like. In the meantime I'll just dream about a life with beautiful homes (plural!), two beautiful kids, and the rock star husband.
